Kerry IFA urges farmers struggling with mental health to seek support

Kerry IFA is urging any farmers or their families struggling with their mental health to reach out for support.

Chair of Kerry IFA Farm Family Committee, Grace O’Sullivan says the full opening of marts was welcome but many people are still anxious about going out and about due to COVID-19.

She says supports are available through the IFA and dedicated organisations but believes that stigma still exists around mental health issues:
