Kerry heritage site granted €50,000

The old lifeboat station on Valentia Island has been granted €50,000 in funding under the Historic Structures Fund 2022.

This funding will be used to replace the slate roof which was destroyed in a recent storm, to repair the front edifice and to replace roof timbers.

A total of €4 million was awarded to projects nationwide.
