The Kerry Divisional Drug Unit was involved in the seizure of an estimated €1.1 million worth of drugs.
The Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau with Kerry Divisional Drug Unit carried out a joint operation with Revenue’s Customs Service in Limerick.
Officers seized approximately 55kgs of herbal cannabis during the operation.

A man in his 40s was arrested and is currently detained at a Garda Station in Kerry.
Investigations are ongoing.
