A first-time Fianna Fáil TD for Kerry has been announced as the party's spokesperson on older people and tourism.
Deputy Michael Cahill’s appointment was announced by the Taoiseach and Uachtarán Fhianna Fáil, Micheál Martin.
The Rossbeigh deputy was a first-time candidate in last November's general election.

He won the final seat in the Kerry constituency on the 13th count, having served on Kerry County Council for 34 years.
