Kerry County Council (KCC) is to close a local road near Killorglin to allow a wastewater connection to a new development.
The L-4034 at Knockyline will be closed to public traffic on Wednesday, 17th June from 8am to 6pm.
The local authority says diversions will be clearly signposted, and that local access will be provided for emergency services and local residents.

Traffic travelling to Killorglin will be diverted via the L-4033 and onto the N70 Glenbeigh-Killorglin road.
Meanwhile, traffic travelling from Killorglin will be divert via the N70 Killorglin-Glenbeigh road and then onto L-4033.
