Kerry County Council has adopted a six-year plan to promote and support the county’s economic and community development.
The Kerry Local Economic and Community Plan (LECP) was approved at the recent full council meeting.
The plan outlines the council’s medium-term goals for achieving key economic and community objectives.
It highlights Kerry’s strengths, including an innovative and entrepreneurial economy, a supportive business environment and vibrant towns and villages .
It states that key challenges identified include changing population demographics, cost-of-living pressures, water and wastewater infrastructure, and housing supply.
