A Kerry County Councillor, who protested outside the civic reception for congressman Richard Neal in Killarney yesterday, says she felt conflicted but had to take a stand.
Sinn Fein councillor Deirdre Ferris handed the US congressman a letter on behalf of the Kerry Friends of Palestine Group.
US Congressman Richard Neal is a longtime supporter of Israel.

The group claims US support has allowed Israel carry out its actions in Palestine.
Cllr Ferris was invited to the civic reception for Congressman Neal in Muckross House, but said she couldn't reconcile the two Richard Neals she knows:
