Kerry Airport annual accounts show an over 38% drop in its after-tax operating profit in a year.
It's released its annual report for the 12-month period ending on the 31st December 2025
Meanwhile, the Farranfore airport recorded its highest passenger numbers in its history last year.
Kerry Airport’s annual report and accounts for 2025, show an operating profit of just under €841,000 (€840,979).
This is down from over €1.3 million (€1,373,300) in 2024’s after-tax operating profit, a 38.7% decrease.
The airport recorded a final profit for 2025 of over €1.4 million (€1,427,417), which was supported by Government grants.
Kerry Airport recorded an all-time passenger high in 2025, with 440,367 people through its doors, a 5.5% increase in twelve months.
Chief Financial Officer of Kerry Airport Basil Sheerin, says the increase helped propel a 19% turnover for the year to over €10.2 million (€10,220,721).
He states this was supported by strong performances across commercial areas, including fuel, the duty free and Car Park Operations; however, cost remains a challenge.
Administrative expensive increased by 23% in 2025, driven by higher payroll costs, energy expenses, local authority rates and maintenance costs.
Basil Sheerin says Kerry Airport is pleased with the annual reports results, and hopes to see further growth in passenger numbers and aircrafts this year.
