Kenmare Municipal District (MD) is to seek a meeting with the committee of Uíbh Ráthach Gaeltacht Interagency Taskforce.
Cathaoirleach of the MD, councillor Norma Moriarty requested the meeting to discuss housing in the Gaeltacht.
She said a ‘live opportunity’ has arisen which would represent exceptional value for money for the taxpayer while allowing the MD meet its objectives in a straight forward manner.
Cathaoirleach Moriarty also wants to discuss the council’s pending Rural Regeneration and Development Fund (RRDF) application and its possible opportunities for Dromid.
