The cathaoirleach of Kenmare Municipal District (MD) is dissatisfied with slow progress on 16 social houses in Waterville.
Fianna Fáil councillor, Norma Moriarty was reacting to the council management claim that initial site investigation works at council land in Waterville will be undertaken before year- end.
Cllr Moriarty had called on Kerry County Council to make urgent progress on the development.
She was told that if the results of the site investigation works were favourable, the design process would then begin.
Cathaoirleach Moriarty added that she would next seek more information at the earliest permissible occasion, January’s MD meeting, and that the she was now giving the executive notice.
