The community of Kenmare has been devastated by the news that remains found in Carrig East ten days ago are those of Mike Gaine.
The sheep farmer has been missing since the 20th March, and the search was upgraded to a homicide investigation on the 29th April.
Independent councillor Johnny Healy-Rae says the community is finding it very difficult to deal with speculation surrounding the case, particularly online.
