Kerry County Council is inviting applications for the upgrade of local roads under the Community Improvement Scheme.
The scheme applies to local tertiary roads that are lightly trafficked, single lane or cul de sac roads.
It’s a voluntary scheme that encourages a joint approach between the council and groups of local residents and landowners for the restoration of public roads.
The programme is based on community contributions of between 15 and 30%.
The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday the 9th of July.
