The Justice Minister says Gardaí will engage with police in Jordan as part of a search for a person of interest in the murder of Jamey Carney.

It's believed a man of interest in the investigation entered the country through Turkey, after boarding a flight from Dublin before Ms Carney's body was discovered.

There is currently no extradition treaty between Ireland and Jordan.
