Irish Rail has told Kerry fans that only passengers with pre-booked tickets will be allowed on trains travelling to Dublin on Sunday.
Barry Kenny is corporate communications manager with Íarnród Éireann.
He says it will not be possible for people travelling to Heuston Station on Sunday to buy tickets on the day or use open return or flexible tickets.
Mr Kenny says this applies to whether the trains are scheduled or special services for the All-Ireland final.
After the Kerry-Armagh semi-final, a special train from Heuston to Killarney that evening allowed passengers on who hadn't booked that particular service in advance.
Barry Kenny says this won’t happen again.
