An Ireland South MEP is calling on the Government to ramp up investment in offshore wind energy.
Sinn Féin MEP Kathleen Funchion made the call following what she calls a worrying report issued by the Environmental Protection Agency.
The EPA published its greenhouse gas emissions projections for the period 2024-2055, which says Ireland is off track for 2030 climate targets.
