Elected Kerry councillors are calling on the HSE and Health Minister to immediately publish the lookback review into North Kerry CAMHS.
Fianna Fáil councillor Jimmy Moloney raised the motion at the recent full meeting of Kerry County Council.
He said the South Kerry lookback review was done in six months, however, two years later the North Kerry review has not been published; and the timelines have consistently failed.
Cllr Moloney added the scope of the review will need to be expanded once published, but this must be done immediately, as those affected still have no access to the redress scheme.
The motion was seconded by Sinn Féin councillor, Tom Barry, who said it’s vitally important the review is published as soon as possible, as it has been going on for too long for the families.
