High temperature warning issued for all of Ireland

A status yellow high temperature warning has been issued for Kerry, and all of Ireland.

It’s valid from 8am tomorrow until 8 o’clock on Saturday morning.

Met Éireann is predicting very warm and humid weather with day time temperatures in excess of 27 degrees in many areas away from coasts.

Temperatures are not expected to fall below 15 degrees at night.

The forecaster is warning of heat stress, uncomfortable sleeping conditions and risks of water related incidents.
