The health watchdog has found a Tralee nursing home to be mostly compliant in relation to the Health Act 2007.
The Health Information and Quality Authority carried out an unannounced inspection of Our Lady of Fatima Home on February 20th.
Inspectors found the centre to be fully compliant across seven areas of the Health Act 2007; and substantially compliant in three categories.
HIQA deemed the home to be non-compliant in relation to individual assessment and care plan, with electronic care planning found not to be working sufficiently.
In response the centre advised the care planning system is to be changed.
Meanwhile, inspectors noted overall, residents living in the centre enjoyed a good quality of life.
The centre was found to be fully compliant in notification of incidents; visits; premises; Temporary absence or discharge of residents; Health care; and residents’ rights.
Inspectors found it substantially compliant in relation to staffing; training and staff development; and infection control.
