Government accused of fudging so-called 'latte levy'

The co-president of Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce has accused the government of fudging their plans for a so-called latte levy.

Johnny McGuire is calling on the government to fulfill their promise to introduce an environmental fee on single-use cups, akin to 2002's plastic bag levy.

In 2022, then minister for the environment Eamon Ryan led the Circular Economy Bill.
