The Gleneagle Arena is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of its’ official opening.
The ribbon was cut at the Killarney venue, then named Ireland's National Events Centre (or the INEC), a quarter of a century ago by the then taoiseach, Bertie Ahern.
CEO of Gleneagle Patrick O’Donoghue says this was his father Maurice’s most ambitious project and he’d be proud to see how far the venue has come.
He says they aim to continue providing a welcoming space for great events at the recently rebranded Gleneagle Arena, for the next 25 years.
