Gardaí have re-issued their appeal for the public’s help in finding a man who is missing from Kenmare.
56-year-old Michael Gaine was reported missing from his home near Kenmare on Friday; he was last seen in Kenmare town shortly before 10am on Thursday.
Gardaí say they, along with and Michael's family, are extremely concerned for his well-being.
Gardaí says Michael Gaine, who also goes by Mike, bought phone credit in Centra in Kenmare at 9.48am on Thursday.
Michael is described as being approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a stocky build, brown/grey hair and a bushy beard.
When last seen, Michael was wearing an orange woolly hat, black fleece, blue jeans and black boots.
Gardaí are seeking anyone with camera footage, including dash-cam or CCTV, or any other images (video or still) from Thursday 20th March and Friday 21st March in the Kenmare town / Moll’s Gap (N71/ R568) area to provide that imagery to the Garda investigation team.
An Garda Síochána say they want to thank members of the public for their assistance in the search in recent days, however, they say they are not seeking any volunteers to assist in land searches today or until further notice.
