Gardaí investigate attack on remote South Kerry pier

Gardaí are investigating the assault of a man on a remote pier in South Kerry.

The man, who's in his fifties, was attacked on Templenoe Pier last Thursday, May 4th at 9pm.

It's understood he was beaten and left unconscious.

Gardaí and the ambulance service attended the scene.

The man was taken to University Hospital Kerry where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
