An Garda Síochána is investigating an alleged serious incident involving a weapon in Listowel.
They received a report that firearm was allegedly discharged at a home shortly before 1 o'clock this morning (22 June).
Radio Kerry understands that an area on Upper William Street has been cordoned off.
