UK budget airline EasyJet has rejected a €4.74 billion takeover bid from Minneapolis based Castlelake.
The Castlelake proposal included former Kerry Airport General Manager Peter Bellew.
Mr Bellew is former Chief Operating Officer at Riyadh Air, and former CEO at Malaysia Airlines.

He also worked at a senior level in Ryanair and EasyJet.
Castlelake published details of its bid this morning.
However the bid was rejected by the Board of EasyJet as "opportunistic".
