Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision crash at Moll’s Gap at around half past eleven (11:30am) yesterday morning.
A man in his 30s was seriously injured when his motorbike crashed near the Avoca Shop.
It was the only vehicle involved.
Gardaí and other emergency services, including three units of Kerry Fire Service, attended the scene.
The motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Kerry (UHK) with serious injuries.
Garda forensic collision investigators examined the scene, and the road reopened shortly before 6pm.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the Moll’s Gap area between 11:10 and 11:40 yesterday morning to come forward, whether they were witnesses, road users, or have (dash-cam) footage.
