An Garda Síochána have appointed a family liaison officer for the family of the woman murdered in Killarney.
American native Jamey Carney was found dead at her home at the Homelands estate on the Muckross Road on Tuesday.
The 43-year-old mother of one was originally from the Westchester County area of New York state, but has lived in Kerry for around five years.
Jamey Carney's mother and sister have arrived in Killarney and are working with the recently appointed Garda family liaison officer.
The family have set up a GoFundMe, aimed at raising €14,000 to assist with funeral expenses, legal fees and costs.

Meanwhile, the Department of Justice says there is no bilateral extradition treaty between Ireland and Türkiye.
However, it says, where appropriate, extradition may be carried out in accordance with relevant international agreements.
Replying to a query from Radio Kerry, the Justice Department stated an extradition request is grounded on an arrest warrant, issued by the state which makes the request.
It comes as Gardaí say a person of interest in the case left the country in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
It’s understood, 28-year-old Ahmad Al-Saqar, who was known to Ms Carney, travelled to the Middle East, via Turkey.
Gardaí say they're working with international police as part of their search.
