The funeral mass for Kenmare man Michael Gaine is currently taking place.
Large crowds attended Finnegan's Funeral Home yesterday evening, where Mr Gaine's remains were reposing until 7pm.
A homicide investigation is taking place into the circumstances of his death; Michael Gaine was last seen on March 20th.
His Requiem Mass began at 10.30 in Holy Cross Church, Kenmare, and can be live streamed.
Killarney and District Motor Club members have formed a guard of honour outside the church to pay tribute to their friend.
In his eulogy, given by his cousin Eoghan Clarke, Mike was remembered as a kind and hard-working friend and neighbour who enjoyed every single moment.
