The funeral mass for Kenmare man Michael Gaine will take place later this morning.
Large crowds attended Finnegan's Funeral Home yesterday evening, where Mr Gaine's remains were reposing until 7pm.
The people of Kenmare, Kilgarvan, South Kerry and beyond have been paying their respects to Michael Gaine and offering their sympathies to Mike's family. He's reposing at Finnegan’s Funeral Home in Kenmare this afternoon, with Rosary at 7pm. Emblems of Mike's great interests - including rallying, farming, and his care for his animals - have been displayed in tribute to him.His Requiem Mass will take place at 10.30 in Holy Cross Church, Kenmare, and will be live streamed.
Gardaí are asking everyone attending Mr Gaine’s funeral to use the designated car parks and walk a short distance to reduce traffic in the town.

Michael Gaine was reported missing on March 21st, and the search was upgraded to a homicide investigation in April.
Human remains were found on his farm in Carraig East on May 16th, which were later confirmed to be that of the missing man.
Yesterday the Garda Commissioner Drew Harris said a review has been launched into the police investigation into the Kenmare man's murder
