Funding announced for projects supporting LGBT+ people in Kerry

Funding has been announced for projects supporting LGBT+ people in Kerry.

Over €75,000 has been allocated to the Listowel Family Resource Centre for its LGBT+ Community Support Worker project.

The Gay Project CLG has been allocated €100,000 for its Strengthening the Rainbow initiative, which supports services across Kerry and Cork.

Almost €10,000 has been set aside for Conscious Connections, for a wellness hub for women and non-binary people in Kerry, Donegal, Longford, Wexford, and Waterford.

The funding was announced by Minister for Children, Disability and Equality, and Kerry Fianna Fáil TD Norma Foley, and has been welcomed by her party colleague Michael Cahill.
