A Farranfore business which is recovering from a fire in July says it hopes to be back to full capacity by the first quarter of next year.
On the morning of the All-Ireland Football Final, July 27th, a devastating blaze broke out at the Diamant Linen plant.

The clean-up and rebuilding is beginning this week after the company fulfilled all its orders for the busy summer season, despite losing its plant to fire.
Eileen O’Leary, who’s the company’s commercial and sales manager, says it’s still a shock to come to the plant since the fire.
22 staff continue to work at Diamant Linen, Farranfore since the blaze in July.
The company hopes that 29 workers who have been on temporary leave as a result of the fire will be rehired.

It’s managing director, Conor Hennigan described the incident as a tragedy.
He praised the response from local people and businesses who helped in the days and weeks since.
