The owners and management of a Farranfore-based business that was gutted by a fire are working to meet their customers’ needs.
Diamant Linen, which is based in the 4 Park Business Centre in Farranfore, suffered extensive damage when a fire broke out there just after 4.30am on Sunday.
The business is one of Europe's largest and most advanced commercial laundry facilities, and it has catered to commercial settings, primarily the hospitality industry for the last three years.
The production facility of Diamant Linen was gutted in the fire; five units from Tralee, Killarney and Castleisland fire services attended and brought the fire under control.
Investigations into the source of the fire are ongoing.
The owners and management of Diamant Linen say they are liaising with their customers to ensure their requirements are being catered for.
They say very extensive damage was caused to the 10,000sq ft production facility where approximately 50 people are employed.
Diamant Linen has made alternative arrangements to meet customer needs.
The owners and management say Diamant administration, despatch and delivery staff remain in constant contact with their clients to minimise any disruption to their businesses.
