Emergency services respond to surfer who got into difficulties off Inch

Emergency services are responding to reports that a surfer has got into difficulties off Inch Strand.

Valentia Coast Guard was notified at seven minute past midday that the male surfer was experiencing trouble in the water.

Dingle Coast Guard and the rescue helicopter are involved in the response at Inch.

UPDATE 1.53PM: The surfer made his way back to shore where he was met by emergency services.

He's very tired after experiencing difficulties but is well otherwise, Valentia Coast Guard has told Radio Kerry News.
