House hunters in Kerry spent €25 million to purchase residential properties in June.
That’s according to the CSO’s Residential Property Price Index, which shows 80 homes were sold in the county that month.
The figures show five of the properties sold were new houses, while 75 were existing dwellings.
First time buyers in Kerry spent over €7.3 million to get on the property ladder in June.
The data shows 23 homes were sold in the county to first time buyers owner-occupiers.
Meanwhile, 40 houses were purchased in the month by former owner-occupiers, with total sales of €13.8 million.
