€18,000 in funding has been announced for Ardfert Cathedral.
The cathedral and its grounds are managed by the Office of Public Works (OPW).
Minister of State for the OPW, Kevin “Boxer” Moran visited the site this morning and confirmed €18,000 in funding to light up Ardfert Cathedral at night.

The announcement has been welcomed by Minister for Children, Disability, Equality and Kerry Fianna Fáil TD Norma Foley.
