Homeowners in Dingle are being urged to take part in a national EV home-charging pilot scheme.
The Shared Charging Initiative aims to enable homes share access to private EV chargers with neighbours and members of the public.
The pilot is being rolled out in four locations nationwide, including Dingle – and is being run in partnership between EasyGo and the Department of Transport.
Successful applicants will be provided with an EasyGo EV charger, which can be shared with the community and public via the EasyGo platform.
Information on applying and application forms for the Shared Charging Initiative can be found here.
Those interested in participating in Shared Charging can apply through the website, with consideration being given to their property and location.

If successful, participants are provided with an EasyGo EV charger free of charge, and can then share access to their private EV chargers with neighbours and members of the public via the EasyGo platform - providing a practical solution in areas where off-street parking is limited or unavailable.
