Darkness into Light Listowel has disbanded its committee.
In a statement on their Facebook page, the committee says it’s unhappy with the top management of Pieta House, adding it was a difficult decision to disband.
Darkness into Light Listowel say they’ve worked tirelessly for the past eight years to raise awareness and have raised over €180,500 (€180,559) for Pieta House; they thanked everyone for their support.

Pieta House says while it is disappointed with the decision made by the Listowel Darkness into Light committee, they would like to thank them for the support over the years.
