Hundreds of walkers throughout Kerry will be rising early tomorrow morning to take part in the annual 'Darkness into Light' walk, organised each year to raise money for Pieta.
This year's walk - which is the main fundraiser for the suicide prevention charity - will take place at Caherdaniel, Cahersiveen, Castlegregory, CastleIsland, Dingle, Glenbeigh, Kenmare, Moyvane and Tralee.
The event begins at 4am and follows a route of roughly five kilometres, with children and dogs welcome to participate.
The walk is usually over before 6am by which time dawn has broken, and with dry weather forecast, organisers are predicting a huge turn-out at Kerry's nine locations.
