Councillors have given the green light for a proposed public convenience facility in Dingle.
A vote was taken on the part 8 proposal at the recent Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne Municipal District meeting, with all councilors in favour.
The development will be located on the existing site of the public toilets at Fearann na Cille.
The meeting heard nine responses were received during the public consultation stage, including from businesses, residents and state bodies.
The proposed works include the demolition of the existing public toilet facility; and construction of a new public convenience facility and new adjacent public realm.
Council management outlined that temporary public toilet facilities will be in use during the construction stage.
