Kerry County Council says three projects will go back to public consultation following errors in the planning process.
A statement from the council outlined that four projects have been impacted, including the redevelopment of the Áras Phádraig site in Killarney.
The council says following an internal procedural checking process, in four separate instances, a number of submissions through public consultation, had not been taken into account during the Part 8 process.
As a result three of the projects will have to recommence the public consultation process and the projects will be re-advertised in the coming weeks.
These include the redevelopment of the Áras Phádraig in Killarney; Public Realm Improvements at Kenmare Place and Main Street in Killarney; and Safety Improvement Works at Abbeydorney Junction in the Listowel Municipal District.
Kerry County Council says the re-commencement of the part 8 process is to ensure all submissions are taken into consideration for each project.
The fourth project impacted is the N22 MD O’Shea Roundabout to Ballycasheen upgrade and active travel project, which does not require re-advertisement, as it is still within the statutory time frame.
The council says a full check of the process has been carried out and has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
