Kerry County Council has introduced measures to deal with high volumes of rats at a North Kerry graveyard.

Sinn Féin councillor Tom Barry brought a motion before Listowel Municipal District meeting, stating a family had contacted him upset by the large volume of rodants in an area of Derryco graveyard, in Ballyduff.

Kerry County Council investigated the issue and has put measures in place.
