Tender for construction of 130-bed Killarney nursing unit to be issued later this year

The HSE has confirmed that a long awaited community nursing unit in Killarney will go to tender in the next few months.

HSE officials met with Kerry TDs this morning to confirm the news.

Independent TD Danny Healy-Rae claims the development is to comprise 96 ordinary district hospital beds and 34 beds which'll replace Saint Columbanus.
