A new team which aims to improve the quality of life for people who have neurological conditions has been launched in Tralee.
Minister for Children, Disability and Equality Norma Foley launched the HSE South West regional Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team at Baile Mhuire, Tralee.
This team offers a specialised rehabilitation service for people who have neurological conditions, conditions following accidents, or progressive conditions.
They will work to help clients recover, improve health outcomes, reduce impairment and improve their quality of life.
The team has a base at Baile Mhuire Tralee and in the Gilbert Centre Mallow.
Minister Foley also officially opened the new Community Neuro Rehab building at Baile Mhuire today.
