Castleisland aiming to build on reputation as a shopping destination

Castleisland is aiming to build on its reputation and draw in shoppers from outside the county. The market town has long been dubbed the fashion capital of Kerry for its selection of boutiques.

Now, Castleisland Chamber Alliance is working on a marketing strategy for the town. Chair of the alliance, Michael John Kearney, says they're casting their net further, trying to get the town recognised as a shopping destination.
