About 15 people attended a demonstration in Killarney earlier today to demand the legalisation of cannabis.
The event took place outside the courthouse in the town centre and was organised by the Kerry branch of the group Legalise Cannabis Ireland.
A second demonstration by the same group took place outside Knockreer Cottage in Killarney National Park.

The socially-distanced event was held to protest against what the group believe are inhumane cannabis laws in Ireland.
Similar events are being all over the world today, on what's been dubbed 'Weed Day' or '420 Day'.
