Internationally-renowned journalist and Cahersiveen native Donie O'Sullivan is in with a chance of winning a prestigious Emmy award.
Donie, who's been working with CNN for the last nine years, has been nominated for his work on the three-part documentary 'MisInfoNation' which was broadcast as part of 'The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper'.
It aired last year as part of the US election coverage, and the nomination comes under the 'Outstanding Continuing News Coverage' category.

The South Kerry man has previously been nominated for News Emmys in 2020, 2021 and last year.
