The late Ireland South MEP Brian Crowley has been remembered as a gentleman and a very effective politician.
Brian Crowley passed away this morning at Cork University Hospital, aged 61.
He represented the Munster and Ireland South constituencies, which include Kerry, as a member of the European Parliament between 1994 and 2019 for Fianna Fáil.
Brian Crowley topped the poll in each of the European elections he contested in that time.
