Kerry organisations are coming on board to support a New Year’s Eve ball in Tralee, which hopes to raise €150,000 for charity.
Astellas manufacturing plant has been announced as the lead sponsor of the Humanity Ball.
Bon Secours Hospital Tralee is also among the new sponsors.
The inaugural Humanity Ball will benefit three Kerry charities.
Kerry Hospice Foundation is embarking on a new building phase on the grounds of UHK as in-patient palliative care services are at capacity.
Louise Quill from Tralee established the Tír na nÓg Children’s Foundation, which helps vulnerable young people in Tanzania.
Shane Leahy founded One4Humanity which provides essential supplies to crisis zones such as Ukraine and Gaza.
The Humanity Ball takes place at Tralee’s Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa on 31st December.
