Over 770 businesses in Kerry upskilled through the Skillnet Business Networks and National Initiatives last year.
The Department for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation, and Science programme aims to help businesses enhance skills, improve competitiveness and prepare for the future.
It delivered over 17,000 training days, with 95% of its participants in Kerry being SMEs.
Businesses in the agriculture sector greatly availed of the scheme, making up 290 of the 770 participants.
