A 32-year-old man has been remanded on continuing bail until 15th July in connection with six alleged drug-related offences.
Krystian Misiak, with an address in Killarney town, faces six charges relating to the possession and possession with intent to sell or supply of cocaine, cannabis, and amphetamines, with an estimated value of €100,000.
The case came before Judge David Waters at Killarney District Court yesterday.
The charges arise from an incident in Killarney on Friday, 2nd May, when Mr Misiak was arrested by the Kerry Drugs Unit following a drugs seizure.
He appeared before a special sitting of Cork District Court on Monday.
Mr Misiak is charged with one count each of simple possession of cocaine, cannabis, and amphetamines under section three of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977.
He also faces one count each of possession with intent to sell or supply the same substances under section 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977.
The 32-year-old is represented by solicitor Padraig O’Connell.
Judge Waters has remanded the case until 15th July for DPP directions, by which time drug analysis results are expected, and he can determine jurisdiction.
