The Department has also reported 335 new cases of the virus.
119 are in Dublin, 29 in Kilkenny, 23 in Limerick, 20 in Donegal and 19 in Cork, and the remaining 145 cases are spread across 20 other counties.

The 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 people in Kerry is 53.3.
That figure nationally is 103.9.
